From 1980 Mr. Titov has held a number of diplomatic positions both in the headquarters of the Ministry and Russia’s missions abroad.
1993-1997 - Minister Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Sweden.
1997-1999 - Director of the Second European Department.
1999-2004 - Ambassador of Russia to Bulgaria.
2004-2005 - Director of the Personnel Department, member of the Collegium of the Ministry.
2005-2013 - Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Since April 2013 - First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Diplomatic rank - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Awards: Order of Merit for the Services to the Motherland IV class, and several others.
Married; one son.
